    Try this.

    Format|Cells|Number,Custom

    N##(Alt 176) ##' ##''

You need to press and hold the Alt key while entering 176 on your numbers key pad for the degree symbol ( ° ). And for the double quotes enter two single quotes ( ' ), it wont except the double quote.

I'd like to know how to convert Long/Lat to a X-Y position on a Mericator map? (I have City positions long/lat and want to put the Cities on a Mericator map X-Y position.
I tried to find a conversion formula - but so far without success.

    Thanks for any help
