    autofill / copy

Making a spreadsheet and trying to figure how to easily populate the
    formulas
Acroos the top have columns for 10000, 20000, 30000, etc
and down the rows have various percentages
Each cell is merely the top column value times the percentage.
I thought it simple until I tried to use autofill and BOTH variables
increase - I want the column input toi stay the same.

see attached for typical application that I'm trying to do.

Bobb, Most of the people here want open and attached file, better to post
some sample data of the worksheet and what you want to do, that said and
without looking at the file sounds like you need to use a Absolute reference
, have a look in help, About cell and range references

    RE: autofill / copy

Think this is what your after

$A$1 (absolute column and absolute row) $A$1
A$1 (relative column and absolute row) C$1
$A1 (absolute column and relative row) $A3
A1 (relative column and relative row) C3
