I am trying to create a table in Excel 2003 utilizing conditional formatting to automatically bold text in input cells with values greater than a specified number (ex. if value in cell A1 is greater than 0.015, then apply bold formatting to the value in cell A1). I can get the conditional formatting to work with the exception of when the value in the input cell (A1) is proceeded by a "<" symbol (ex. if value in cell A1 is entered as <0.005, the conditional formatting from the previous example applies bold formatting to <0.005 even though this value is not greater than or equal to 0.015). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
