huge file size

Hi,
i have an excel file which is 15KB in size, but after doing some formating
it becomes 15MB after saving it.
What could be wrong here?

Hi Mary,
If all you did was attempt to change the formatting, it sounds
like you used the fill handle to copy formatting down which would
create lots of excessive cells. The other thing is that formatting
should be done for whole columns as opposed to individual cells.
