    Shrink File Size

I have a template that is 28mb. I deleted all the sheets but two from 20 sheets so I would expect to see the size shrink but it has not. Is is macros or what making it this size. Is there a way to shrink the size?
    Thank you.

    Good evening K2extrem5

Thats a bit of a monster spreadsheet. Try opening it and press ctrl + End. This should take you to the last active cell. You should then aim to delete ALL empty rows and ALL empty columns. If the last cell is far away from your working area, you need to delete the rows and columns from the last cell to your working area. Save your spreadsheet. Does that help?

Also if you have XL2000 or later try this:
*** BACK UP YOUR FILE FIRST **
File > Save As Web Page. make sure Entire Workbook is selected and save.
Close the file, then reopen the web pages within Excel and save back as an XL workbook.
