copying from word

Hi, Can I copy data from word and paste into excel. I have tryed with no
success. I have data in a table in word and now I have made a spreadsheet for
it and thought it would be easy to just copy and paste but it doesn't seem to
be working. Am I missing something. Thanks

Is there something unusual about the source data or its format? Simply selecting the table and copy and paste should do it.
