What happens when you apply the filter? Does all of your data disappear? If you get the arrows in the header row, is one the arrows blue instead of black? If so, click on the blue arrow and choose "show all".

Is your data in adjoining columns with no blank rows within the range? Do all columns have a descriptive Header cell?
