The use of AI tools (e.g. chatGPT, BARD, GPT4 etc) to create forum answers is not permitted. If a user is believed to have used such tools to provide a forum answer, sanctions may be imposed.
HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK:Unregistered, Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. lookup for a specific string-help please
Hi,

Am a new member to this forum. I want a help from you all XL grurus. It may be very easy for you. But, for me it is a brow crinkling one. I want to use lookup function to sor a specific string in a colum so as to figure out the correspoding value in the other column.

Can you please see the attached zip file and help me out in this problem. In that XL file sheet Abstract you can find the fucntion what I have pu, but! I could not get the result other than #NA!!!
