Standard Template - Multiple Workbooks?

Hi,

I have question the I have not been able to find a thread on. Coordinating a budget for 50 sites. I have made a template that each will populate with numbers. For lots of reasons the template will change during the process. I would like to change all 50 workbooks with requiring that all the data be reentered. I need a master - 50 linked workbook kind of thing.

Do you mean "... workbooks without requiring ..."?

A few questions?
1. where are the 50 workbooks that need changes? Are they or will they be available "on the network"
2. will all 50 be from the same, original template?
3. how will you keep the folks who are entering data from changing the workbooks?
4. what kinds of changes might need to be made? I know that is is hard to predict, but a few examples from previous budgeting nightmares would help.
