    Spilt Screen

    Hi,
if I split the screen starting row 6, and I want second half of the screen to start from row 7, how do I do that? I am able to spilt the screen, but when I scroll around the second half of the screen, I could see row 1-6 i.e. both parts would show row 1-6, how do I make the upper part showing ONLY 1-6 and bottom part showing only everything after row 7. Please advise.
    Thank you.

On a split screen (in two halves, for instance) you have apparently two identical spreadsheets on view at the same time - but it will still be the same spreadsheet. Scroll the top screen so you can view the top rows, and scroll the bottom screen to see the lower rows (or columns). Using split screens enable you to work on a large spreadsheet without having to move across many rows and columns.

As far as I know, I don't have excel at work, only Open Office Calc, you can freeze the rows you mentioned, but can't split the screen as well. It's either one or the other. Others may be able to provide a solution using code, etc. There's a lot of info. here: http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6130-0....ssageID=367551
