How to copy values in various rows automatically

I have a worksheet function for a cell.
Now I would like to copy this function for all the rows
in this column. How can it be done?

    Like copy A1 to A2 thru' A900

    Thank you,

move your mouse over the bottom right corner of the cell containing the formula.
The icon should change to a + sign.. double click it. This will fill the formula for as many rows as there are data in the column immediately to the left of it.
(dont try to fill a formula if the column to the left has blank cells)

    Me,

Select A1. Drag the Fill Handle (lower right corner button) down.

Select A1 then in Name Box to the left of the Formula Bar type in A1:A900 and
    hit ENTER key.

Type your formula in A1 and hit CTRL + ENTER.

If formula is already entered in A1, hit F2 then CTRL + ENTER after selecting
    the range.
