    Cell Navigation Troubleshooting

    Hi,

I'm using Excel 2003 and have a strange navigation issue that I cannot seem to fix.

When I try to "Tab" over to the next cell, I actually tab over an entire page width of cells to the left, and not just one cell. Shift+Tab moves a page width back.

"Home" brings me to cell A1 regardless of where I am on the sheet.

    "End" does nothing.

The arrow keys and "enter" seem to work normally.

I thought this was an excel problem, so I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling excel. Any other suggestions?

    Thanks in Advance,

    Zack

Sorry you went to all the trouble to uninstall/reinstall.

Simply go to Tools>Options | Navigation tab

    Uncheck "Transition navigation keys"

On the Edit tab, verify the "Move selection after Enter" is set to your desired option (Down, Right, Up, Left) or uncheck to not move selection on Enter.

    click OK

Now TAB move one cell right. Pressing Enter results in your setting on the Edit tab.

    Good Luck
