Ethical question re: conduct of a forum member

    To all forum users,

I was collaborating with a user within this forum on a problem the user proposed. I had provided the solution (over a series of posts within the thread), and when I went to check if it was acknowledged by the user that the solution worked, I discovered that the user had deleted the thread from the forum!

    So, my first question is:
Was it right for the user who was looking for a solution to remove my solution provided after (I assume) it was deemed by the user to be correct?
    My next question:
Should I repost my solution & the sample data files provided by the user for all forum users?
    Your input is greatly appreciated!

    Hi!

    I would advocate reposting.
