Log and Date Stamp Activity????

I haver a shared workbook that needs to be updated by users once a week. What I want to do is track users Last Viewed, Last Saved. So, how do you get the user name and time stamp the activity? There are 18 users and the workbook is on a windows 2000 network.

Put this in "thisworkbook" in microsft excel objects

it will put date and time in A1 and a user name in A2

Thanks I will try it out, but it looks like it writes over the last entry for user & time, when what I need is to over write time date based on the user name. i.e. if user name = paulea3 then a3 = time stamp else if user name = peter then a4 = time stamp etc.
