what is maximum number of colums in worksheet?

I am trying to make a timeline for all of 2005, Jan-Dec. I also need to
include 6 colums of -data related to each day on the timeline. I now have to
worksheet dividing the year in-half, with some overflow added to each
    section, Jan-Aug & Jun-Dec.

Can I get all of this on one worksheet?

365 days at 6 columns per day gives you in excess of 2000 columns which is
nearly 10 times the maximum number of columns you can have (256 is the max).
You will need to consider transposing your data, albeit timelines don't
    always work nicely when vertical.

    256 columns maximum.

    You do the arithmetic..........

Have you thought about laying out in rows?

    There are 65,536 of those.
