Excel cross cursor should be transparent when hovering over number

When the excel cursor has hovered over a cell for a short period it should
become visible but transparent so that numbers underneath can be seen without
needing to move the mouse. This is often a problem because you tend to click
on a cell, leaving the cursor there, then when you look up to check the
contents of the cell you can't see them because the cursor is sitting over
the top, so you then need to move the mouse to see the contents.

The cursor could become opaque again once moved.

    Put it on the wish-list.
