Morning ...

We have an old Windows 98 machine with Office 2000, it opens .csv files fine off a network drive

Now we're replacing all our old machines in the building with new ones. The new ones have Windows XP Pro with Office XP Pro, however when we try to open the .csv files we get the following error message:

I've tried Office 97, 2000, 2001, and even 2003 and still the same error ... if we copy the .csv's locally they are fine to open and work ok. If we right click on the .csv on the network drive and do "open with" and select notepad, it again opens fine ...

So, it would seem the error lies within Excel ... Another thing i noticed, when i try open the .csv on the old machine, in the bottom left it says its loading FUNCRES.XLA, which is an addin, but this is on the new machine too and works ok

Also, the user(s) have full admin rights to the server and local machine

Really really need to fix this asap for our users, if anyone has a solution it would be very much appreciated
