Can I rotate excel sheets so columns are displayed as rows & vice-versa (i.e.
to get 256 rows & 65 536 columns)
I want to make a project calender with dates across the top - so I need at
least 365 columns - preferably more.

no. columns are fixed at 256 and rows at 65536. no
rotating.
i would suggest that instead of 12 months row that you do
2 6 months rows or 3 4 month rows or 4 3 month rows.
