My file menu is not on the menu bar.

The file menu has mysteriously disappeared from the menu bar in Word 2003
(Student and Teacher edition). Is there any way to get it back? I've tried
both View>Toolbars>Customize and Tools>Customize.

Karyn,

What you say you've tried isn't clear. Have you, in Customize, Toolbars
tab, clicked the checkbox in "Worksheet Menu bar?" You want the checkbox,
not just a blue selection bar across it.

Thanks. I hadn't ckicked it because there was already a check there. When I
clicked it and reset, the file menu reappeared.
