    large spreadsheet

    I am new to excel and I would like to know if you can search a large spreedsheet. The spreedsheet has twelve tabs for each month. Is their a way to search for certain data for the whole workbook.

    I believe this is what you need.

    select the first sheet, hold down shift and click on the last sheet. This should highlight all the sheets and the press CTRL F (or Edit->Find). This will do a search across all selected sheets.
