I have two sheet Sheet 2 and Jan, what i want is get the Confirmation Code in Sheet 2 data to Booking No. data --- if the data in Sheet 2 Start Date is less than month in Cell A2 and Year in cell B2 in Sheet Jan.
I tried index match but it does not work
Where have you mocked up your expected result(s)? I do not undertsnad the requirement.

In Sheet Jan i copied booking numbers from Column A Sheet 2 and the Start Date (sheet 2) data to Jan sheet (check-in) date.
So basically in Jan sheet cell B2 is 1(month Jan) and B3 is 2025 (year) -- so if the data in Sheet 2 Start Date is less than this month in B2 cell (Jan) and B3(Jan) then it will grab the data
One guess,
