Hi.
Hoping I can ask for assistance today. I am pretty sure this is countifs which i have used before . Basically I am counting the number of instances for Cat food and dog food but only count if the sale is greater than zero. Hope this makes sense but have attached a spreadsheet to explain.
In E4 copied down:
=IF(C4=0,0,COUNTIFS($B$4:$B4,B4,$C$4:C4,"<>"&0))
