    Simple stacked? graph

I'm trying to visually show usage change in my water bill for the past few years.
I don't even know what to call it, but ideally, I would like to see Jan19,Jan20,Jan21,Jan22,Feb19,Feb20... in x-axis and corresponding values in y-axis.
This should be incredibly simple, but I just don't know how to do it.

This is for my own use and doesn't need to be pretty or even labeled.
What's the easiest way to do this? Sort by month? If that's even possible.

    Re: Simple stacked? graph

Are you still using Excel 2010?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Oh, I see. I never thought about creating multiple columns.

Thank you. Was moving data a manual copy/paste process or is there a function to move all the 2019 to one column and 2020 into the next, ... ?

    Re: Simple stacked? graph

It's not a manual copy/paste process. Please read up about PivotTable.
