    table filter auto filter according to dropdown list selection

    dear excel gurus,

    greeting and a good day ahead.

    as per subject, I would like to know would it be possible for a table column auto filter according to dropdown list selection?

    I have attached my sample excel workbook with the desire outcome.

    1 table is the table i using now and the bottom table is the desire outcome after a user select the dropdown list date and the table under date column auto filter the date that has been selected from drop down list.

    is there any formula to make this workable or it should be done via VB? i'm sorry as I try to look up some of the solutions on line but the outcome wasn't same with the one that I would like to achieve.

    Looking forward for some advise and new knowledge.

    Have you considered using slicers for this?

    One way solution.
    In your data create day number column.
    Insert Pivot table. In Filter Tab set Days number. You can selete days from filter accordingly Pivot table create.

    Place your cursor somewhere on the table, then Insert > Slicer - tick the Date and Yes/No fields. Place the slicers where you want them.
