Hi,
I used to use a left mouse click and hold down the ctrl button to select multiple cell ranges.
Is there any way or a technique to do these different cell range selections using keyboard shortcuts instead?

microsoft 365 apps for enterprise
1. Get to your first cell in the (next) range using the arrow keys
2. Press Shift+f8
3. Holding down the shift key, use the arrow keys to select your range
4. Press the f8 key, still holding down the shift
Repeat steps 1 through 4 as many times as you like
If you know the cell addresses, type directly in the Name Box, separating each cell by a comma, then hit the Enter key.
@Eeza Goodun
Please, may you give more details, I've followed your steps to the letter but always when I finish selecting the current section that I want to choose when I want to move to the new range (while holding down the shift key), I found the empty range also being selected.
I've attached a sample file.

Thanks
An example of what I want to achieve is to select these ranges in yellow using the keyboard instead of the mouse:
Excel 2016 (Windows) 64 bit
A B C D E F G H I J K L 1 2 66 3 15 50 93 17 51 100 102 4 90 40 89 64 96 26 72 5 16 63 23 41 36 21 30 6 43 7 44 8 105 49 78 73 9 3 1 2 10 27 79 55 11 18 61 104 65 95 13 12 88 19 47 20 42 69 13 7 87 85 75 58 56 14 67 80 28 32 12 39 15 53 82 31 16 57 10 70 17 18 19 24 76 74 45 33 25 60 20 94 97 34 29 46 71 35 21 92 5 11 84 6 101 38 22 37 91 48 14 86 77 62 23 98 99 54 83 9 59 4 24 68 103 52 8 25 22 26 81 27 @josephteh
Sheet: Example
I am afraid that I do not know the range exactly as I keep scrolling to find the cells.

Read step 4 again. I don't think you are pressing the f8 key in this step."I've followed your steps to the letter but always when I finish selecting the current section that I want to choose when I want to move to the new range (while holding down the shift key), I found the empty range also being selected."
Note also that step 1 says nothing about holding the shift key down.
So;
1 Use arrows
2. Shift+f8
3. Shift + Arrows
4. Shift + f8
5. let go of the shift key and go to step 1

Eeza's steps do work. You may have to hold Fn key with F8.
@Eeza Goodun
You are the man, this will save me a lot of time indeed.
I've added the Ctrl to the steps to select more easily and it worked as well.
Thanks a lot.
