Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern

I installed Excel on a new PC and copied my Personal.XLSB files from another PC. This got all my macros and VB to the new machine. I can run the code, but the macro buttons fail with the warning in the title with a couple of buttons on how to respond. If I click on the enable button, I get the message "sorry, Excel cannot open two workbooks of the same name at the same time". I've probably done all this ten times before, but now I cannot remember how to get past this.

I found that if I simply remove and replace the macro reference, then they work.

By "macro buttons" do you mean custom buttons on the Ribbon or QAT that you added and linked to your macros? I am not sure what you mean by "the enable button."

The custom buttons may be pointing to a different version of Personal.xlsb, which would explain the error message.

If you go to the "customize" dialog for the Ribbon or QAT and then hover the mouse cursor over one of the buttons that doesn't work, what path do you see? What is the path that contains the transferred Personal.xlsb file?
