Need to change the sheet name in a TRANSPOSE formula for the entire table

    Hi, guys

Wondering if you can help me out here.

I created a table using transpose (i needed my cells and columns to be arranged in a different way from the original).
Now I need to create another, the same as the first) but I need another sheet in the TRANSPOSE formula.

So I have 2 original tables in 2 different excel tabs and I already created another table on another excel table that has the TRANSPOSE data from one of the original tables.

I need to change the formula for the entire table.

It would be much easier to understand what I mean if you could please just check the attachment.

Thanks so much for your time!

It would be much easier to understand what you mean if you could please just attach the workbook, not a picture of it.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

You are still using the old-style TRANSPOSE.

I suggest you start by selecting B2 to G4 and hitting DELETE to get rid of that.

Next, post this into B2 and hit JUST ENTER (not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER).

    =TRANSPOSE(original1!B2:D7)

    The table will fill automatically.

Next, all you need to do is change the formula in B2 to this:

    =TRANSPOSE('original 2'!B2:D7)
