    Automatically add range and divide by number.

    MrPJ Example.xlsx

    Good day,

    In the example attached the N column I have to manually select the range and then in this example divide by 5. If I had to add more data in row 10 then I would have to manually select the range from m5 to m10 then divide by 6. How can I get excel to do this automatically?

    You could use this formula in N5:

    =AVERAGE(M$5:M5)

    then copy down as required.

    If you add another row then you can just copy the formula down further, or if you put the data into an Excel table the formula would automatically copy down for new rows added.
