Smooth line through scatter plot normal distribution

Hi all,

Is it possible to get one smooth line plotted through the points in the attached spreadsheet?

I would like to have the line showing the outline of the normal distribution/ bell curve rather than just the markers, however when I insert lines through graph formatting, it inserts multiple lines rather than just one.

Assuming I understand the problem, Excel's scatter charts have always connected markers in the same order that they appear in the spreadsheet. Your data are not sorted, so you will get connecting lines all across the chart.

The natural solution is to sort the data (or a copy of the data, if this particular order has meaning for the user) by x value. Then Excel's chart will connect the points in order according to x value.
