Conditional Formatting to change to UPPER

Hi, is there a way to do a conditional formatting for data to be always in upper case?

I have a long list of names in a few columns that I need to copy and paste every week but I want them to paste in UPPER case every time. I know you can do it with formulas but I heard that there was a way that the conditional formatting can do it for me. is this true?

You can't change the case of a word using conditional formatting. I think you'll need VBA - shall I move the thread for you?

Re: Conditional Formatting to change to UPPER

You can't manipulate text values with formatting - you can change colour, and size etc. but there's not much else you can do.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you guys. I found another option. I created another sheet and just wrote the formula for that instead. Thank you.

I've never heard of this and wouldn't know how to do it...
    Try with macro.
