Reference cell color fill as well as value

This is a football (soccer) tactic visualisation. It deals with player names and their value in "Cur A" as current ability, a number i attributed to them.

Please tell me if anything needs to be clarified, english is not my first language.

    excel.png

The top right table is named AF, and it has a rule that it fills the row with the color if the Status column has the value "Pending"

The bottom left table refences the name of the highest "Cur A" value in a table.

And the bottom right display references the value of the bottom left.

So M. Budimir has the status pending, and his name cell H42 is colored in.

I want the bottom left table which uses the following formula to reference the highest value Cur A player in that position =INDEX(AF[AF-At]; MATCH(MAX(AF[Cur A]); AF[Cur A]; 0)), to also copy the color fill.
So if the highest valued Cur A player is colored in, i want it to be also colored in in the bottom left, and subsequently in the bottom right which currently only uses =B58.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just looked at the workbook - it bears no relation to the images shown. It needs to be the same.

You cannot copy colour or any other formatting from one cell to another with a formula.

I'm not sure what you mean by it bears no relation to the images shown.

I just downloaded the same file I put in the post, and it's the same file I posted the screenshot from.

Nevertheless, so there is no easy way to reference the formatting without using a custom VBA?
    Thanks for the answer.

I had to scroll down to row 40 to see the section you used for your screenshot but I did find it.

It depends. There are no built-in functions to tell you cell color. However, because you are using conditional formatting to color cells in AF, you can probably use the same logic to color the other cells. I will look at your file and see what can be done.

Re: Reference cell color fill as well as value

I cannot figure out what you want to do. In your sample file, which name should be colored, and why?
So if the highest valued Cur A player is colored in, i want it to be also colored in in the bottom left
It sounds like Budimir should be colored because he has the highest Cur A value AND his row in AF is colored (i.e., his status is Pending).

subsequently in the bottom right which currently only uses =B58.
Are you talking about K49? So the same name should be colored in this section?

Please see the attached and tell me if this does what you are looking for.
