Help with formatting data - Pivot table

    Hi, there

I was wondering if it's possible to group hours-minutes within same date (in pivot table).

    Setup

    One table with 3 columns

    | Name | Date(with hour) | Location |

Table is 1000+ entries in a month. So to sort data i use Pivot table who do excellent job. But it would be nice to group time in same line as date.

    For example : 31.10.2023 07:45; 11:50; 16:30

Sometimes there is 1 to 10 entries in same day.

The list i get now is in picture below.

    Thanks for your support.

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

This proposal employs Get & Transform (aka Power Query) to produce the green white table on the Table1 sheet using the following code:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
The pivot table on the same sheet is then produced from the green white table.
