Layer tables on top of eachother & select monthly data from drop-down

    Capture 4.PNG

I have this table and for each month there are different values. Is it somehow possible to layer the 12 different months on top of eachother and then have a drop down menu where you can select which month you want to see?. Also if this is not possible does anyone have any tips of doing it a different way. All help is much appreciated

Re: Need to know if this is possible or if anyone has any ideas :)

    Welcome to the forum.

Yes, it's possible, but not quite in the way you suggest. Please update the thread title to make it clear WHAT you are trying to do - generic thread titles are not acceptable, I am afraid.

Is your 2302 Excel 365? If not, what? Please update your forum profile.

Two options: filtering a table containing all dates in situ using a slicer or using FILTER to extract a month's data from a source table on another worksheet.

Finally, there are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Re: Layer tables on top of eachother

    OK, we'll forgive you.

So any response to what I suggested in my post above? And what about a sample workbook? Can't use a screenshot - see instructions in my post.
