So, what I showed with the Numbers images is what your version is showing, also. Numbers works, or used to work, very similarly to Excel.
There, theoretically should be no difference between Mac and Windows versions, but apparently there is. When we click on the number, or the letter, of a row or column, NOTHING happens. No highlighting. Why, I haven't a clue.
Taking a screenshot of my husband's computer won't be of help, as nothing happens, and the screenshots I posted show how his previous version of Excel USED to work. Being able to highlight a specific row or column is helpful to the way we work. Apparently, Microsoft doesn't think so.
Not enjoying this version. There are multiple things we could do previously that we are no longer able to do.I don't know if it's because we bought the 2021 version, instead of renting it, or what, but we will NOT subscribe, and much prefer to OWN the software.
