Conditional formatting to colour duplicates that are positive and negative

Hi guys,

I have a list I download every month of 3000 lines and want conditional formatting to highlight the cells that are matching (however the numbers in my data are positive and negative - all 3000 entries are in one column always.

My data starts from cell W10 and goes down to W3010, for proposed solutions!

I have had a search on the forum but can't get any fixes to work, so please can you help

Assuming that the values in the cells are positive or negative numbers, and nothing else, try this:

Highlight W10:W3010 > Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula
=COUNTIFS(W$10:W$3010,W10)+COUNTIFS(W$10:W$3010,-W10)>1
Format: Fill color of your choice > OK > OK
