Excel Database linked to Excel Calendar

Hello everyone,

I need some help figuring out something.

I work in HR and I deal with lots of effective date for employees changes. I have an excel sheet with these changes that include a unique employee identifier, and a specific effective date for the changes.

I am trying to find out, if it is possible to link the excel calendar to that database so when I add an employee ID+ACTION TYPE+Date it is reflected in the calendar with the ID, the type of action (onboarding, job change, separation) on the correct date in the calendar.

I am not too smart with Excel and I hope there is such option. If somebody has the power to help me out, that would be amazing!!!

Hello David, and welcome to the forum.

It would help if you attached a sample Excel workbook to show how your data is laid out - follow the guidelines given in the yellow banner at the top of the screen.

Also, you refer to "the Excel calendar", so if this is a template file that you have downloaded from somewhere then attach that also.
