Margin Calculator Help Please

Hello All, Any help greatly appreciated here. I currently have an Excel Spreadsheet whereby I input a suggested sell price for a product and it provides me the Gross Margin. This spreadsheet takes into account certain variables, such as material cost, postal cost and selling fees (which are a percentage of the ultimate sale price). Is there a way whereby I can input the desired Gross Margin and the spreadsheet will calculate the sell price including the variable selling fees which are a function of the ultimate Sell price?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Can you please populate two or three rows fully to give us an idea? Columns are empty and the formala is showing an error.

We need to see the formula functioning properly to revrese engineer it.

Is there a way to factor-in column P in the margin calculation?

I do not understand this. I understood from Post #1 that you want to enter the margin:

whereby I can input the desired Gross Margin

Or do you mean the calculation of the price? Column P is already in that: =-(P3+0.3+L3)/(S3-0.881)

I respected all your existing formula when creating the price formula.
For a given margin, the formula gives exactly the price that you must enter in your first workbook to arrive at the same margin.
