Calculating Percentage values in a Subtotalled Table

I have a table of information that has subtotals inserted - example below:

I need a repeating formula or vba that will work out the percentage value of the Company's Total Credit Limit in each of the Company's individual entries.

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I squinted to read your screenshot.

    Is this what you want?

    =E2*VLOOKUP(A2&" Total",$A$2:$C$45,3,0)

Attachment has been added to the original post with the sample workbook attached - first tab showing the data, second tab showing the expected results with annotations.

Re: Calculating Percentage values in a Subtotalled Table

It is necessary to change the layout of the table slightly, because otherwise the formula and the values that the formula needs will interfere with each other and that is not possible in Excel.

Please insert between column C and D an extra column and try in D2 and copy down:

and try in F2 and copy down:

No need to change the layout with mine, assuming it's what the OP wants (they haven't responded yet).

Thank you HansDouwe - that worked perfectly for the entire worksheet.

Re: Calculating Percentage values in a Subtotalled Table

You are Welcome. Thanks for the feedback and rep . Glad to have helped.

@Ali, you also changed the layout, because you added an extra column for the limits per account. That's the same layout change I applied.
And in my solution the percentages are also calculated based on the number of occurrences.

Re: Calculating Percentage values in a Subtotalled Table

How was it meant to be done without adding a column? The annotations were in that column so that’s where I assumed they were meant to be. I don’t see adding a column as a change to the layout!

Anyway, the OP hasn’t even had the courtesy to acknowledge the help I offered, so I’m not really that bothered. I am glad they had the courtesy to thank you at least.
