How to find any replace ANY value?

    Hi guys,

This is a general question so I don't really have anything attached.
Say I have a column with numbers in it: 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000. Let's say I want to find and replace any of the values in the column with a formula - like "divide any number by 5", how would I do it in find and replace?

I tried using find "", *, " ", but nothing seemed to work.

    Thank you!

Can't be done at all without VBA, I'm afraid.

There is a way without Find & Replace:

    1. Type the number 5 into an empty cell.
    2. Copy that cell to the clipboard.
    3. Select the values in column A.
    4. Right-click > Paste Special > Divide.

If you want to divide all numbers in a range by 5, you can type 5 in an empty cell, copy it, highlight all of the numbers in the range, then right click on the selected range > Paste Special > Paste Special > Divide > OK

    Edit: whoops, beat to it
