    Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    I am trying to print small labels for a shop

    I currently have all my data in hundreds of columns like the image below

    img1.jpg

    I am trying to make it so i can print all columns into multiple rows on multiple pages similar to below without doing it manually

    IMG2.jpg

    Can anyone assist at all as to a faster way to do this?

    Re: Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    Welcome to the forum.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

    A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

    Try this code;

    Right click on your data sheet >view code. Paste it in the blank window that appears and run the macro.

    Re: Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    is there anyway to have the three rows all on one page so you dont get the top cut off at all on the page below?

    as you can see from the below image the product code at the top is cut off on the page

    I can't see that attachment but see if this minor mod fits in on your page;

    Your attachment to post #5 is invalid, so we can't see the problem.

    Re: Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    see below image bottom row on multiple pages either gets the top 2 rows or cuts off

    is there any way to fix all rows and columns to widths specified so I can then print and Guillotine these all at once?

    Please follow the instructions for uplodaing a workbook in the yellow box at the top of the page to upload your image so that ALL members will be able to see it. Inline attachments often come up as invalid.

    It would really help if you could post a valid attachment.

    Re: Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    It does work if you follow the instructions at the top of the page - you must be doing something wrong. I know you can do it because of post #1. I did it for you in post #12 so that your helpers can see the issue.

    Re: Moving Multiple columns to print multiple rows across Pages

    Try changing the 13 I put in the last code grab t0 21. That should give you 5 rows of labels per page.
    Please Login or Register to view this content.
    If that doesn't work, try adding two to the row...(Nrow = Nrow + 2)

    (It's hard to count the rows from that attachment).

    I guess what I need to know is;

    1. On the FIRST page How many FULL rows did it print?
    2. On the FIRST page, how many lines of the incomplete row of labels did it print?

    OR...make sure I can see the FIRST page in an attachment.

    When you run the macro and print the FIRST page, what does it look like and what version of the macro did you run?
