Is it possible to easily locate zip codes from a list of addresses?

    Hi,

I've been attempting to locate zip codes from a long list of addresses that do not contain zip codes. I have searched everywhere and I've only found a solution that I've had trouble executing. The solution uses the CDXZipStream Excel extension which is a great tool, but when inserting the API, it gives a server error--stating that it can't connect to the server or that I may be using a proxy network (this is not the case). I have restarted my network and my computer but no luck. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

You lost me at the first line ... "I've been attempting to locate zip codes from a long list of addresses that do not contain zip codes"

Does that make sense? It doesn't to me. Perhaps you could provide some sample data of what you will be starting with, and also some sample data of what you want to see as results.

Johnny, sounds to me they have a long list of addys that dont have zip codes, and they need to search a (different?) DB that does have zip codes
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

@FDibbins, that is why I asked for some sample data to see what the before and after effect might be. We are not mind readers.

I have previously provided a solution to what the OP seems to be asking, if my previous responses were to be searched here.

Johnny - this really isn't very helpful. Even if the search facility here were good (and it isn't), nobody would be able to find the thread in question without searching every single post you had ever made. How about sharing a link to the thread in question, which might indeed be helpful???

@AliGW, I won't pretend to apologize for the weak search service on this site, but I can provide the link that I was referring to:

I am not apologising for it, either - it's not my fault, but it is really poor (it's the fault of the forum software used and that is beyond the admin and mod team's control - the owners won't update it). Thanks for the link, which might help the OP.
