How do I identify the number of days per month between 2 dates on Excel 2016 w/ a formula?

Hello everyone!

I am trying to identify the number of days per month between 2 specific dates which happen to not start and end in on the 1st and 31st of their respective months. For example, if the dates were 5/01/2023 and 17/03/2023, I would like to form a formula which would give me the results of 26 for January, 28 for February and 17 for March. I also need this to be a non-VBA solution.

I have attached a sample spreadsheet of what I am trying to achieve below.

Please add some expected results to the sample workbook.

I don't know what results you are expecting to see and where - I am asking you to add some that you have manually calculated to illustrate what you are aiming for.

I had already seen the spreadsheet.

Let me ask in a different way: where in the spreadsheet have you mocked up some of the results that you want to see? Because all you have given us is an empty table.

=LET(a,DAYS(MIN(EOMONTH($B30,0),INDEX($D$3:$D$9,MATCH(C$29,$B$3:$B$9,0))),MAX($B30,INDEX($C$3:$C$9,MATCH(C$29,$B$3:$B$9,0))))+1,IF(a>0,a,0))

Note: This formula includes the Startdate and there are no weekends and holidays.
