    Return MAX of Multiple Rows

I usually use structured references & am falling to pieces on the simplest index/match combination . I am trying to return the maximum value encountered at the depth of all occurences of the specified Nd. Also need to do >150 Nd & <= 250 Nd in a multiple criteria match. After desensitizing the data it doesn't look very exciting I know.

    update red for <250 column
Biggest issue i had were your values in A69:A100 compared to your values in row 2. this is because row 2 values are text and your lookup values are numbers which caused me to have to use TEXT(A69,"0.00")

Re: Return MAX of Multiple Rows

Thanks dosydos, sorry I should've said I'm using across workbooks so is it possible with index/ match?

I do not know why an implicit conversion is happening with text values & numeric values with the depths. This is happening intermittently with my real data too .

EDIT - Sorry I did not realize xlookup worked across workbooks, thanks so much.
