I am using Excel. I think its version of "Office 16" because the app is located in that file folder location.
By chance from misclicking on something, I have activated a split screen option. How do I undo it

Under the VIEW tab in the top menu ribbon is a small tile called 'Split'. If you have a split screen activated it should be light gray shaded. Click it to un-split.
It may also be that you have the window panes frozen. There is a larger tile in the same VIEW tab called 'Freeze panes'. Use the drop=down options and select Unfreeze (Unfreeze is only showing if you have the screen freeze active).

This is very good advice. I also found where I could set things to "Normal" because, it seemed I had page breaks of some sort as well.
