    Re: Pivot Table Calculations

Your data needs to be complete for this to work. You need the number of shipped for each Scrap Reason (Column M) or else the calculations are not going to be accurate.
Do you have data for how many of each Body>Desc>Reason are shipped? Or you only have the Group totals for shipped?

Otherwise, you can put the "total shipped" that you have at the bottom for the groups within each cell for the column shipped total, then in the pivot table use the max aggregation. Then create a calculated formula for the Sum of scrapped / Max of shipped.
Sample attached. Note, you will need to use a pivot table with data model for this to work.

The only issue that you might have (if I misunderstood what you wanted) is some of the calcs.

The way I have it is:
    1. Total Group Scrap / Total Shipped from Group
    2. Total Description Scrap / Total Shipped from Group
    3. Reason Scrap / Total Shipped from Group

Edit: I think I did three wrong, I am working on that now.

Okay, the only way I could make this work is by having two separate pivot tables, since some of the data was missing I had to break it down another way. Not sure if this will work for you or not.
I changed 3. above to Reason Scrapped / Total Shipped from Description.
