Entering Multi-level Items in a Single Cell

I have many multi-level items (250) that I need to enter into Excel. Each entry needs to be entered into its own cell, which I can do, one at a time. However, because there are so many, I would like to enter them all at once, or in batches. Is there a way to do that? Below is a screen clip of what I mean by multi-level. All of these items are in Word. Thanks.

If these are in Word as you show it, they would automatically paste in their own cells. Copying in word will automatically see line breaks and paste in Excel accordingly.

If not, please attach word sample so we can test it. As a test, I manually typed what you had in your screenshot and pasted that into Excel and each portion went into it's own cell.

    Edit:
Oh, I misunderstood, you want each # which is multiple rows to be in one cell - let me rethink that

Re: Entering Multi-level Items in a Single Cell

I wasn't clear in my original post. I want to paste the entire item in one cell, that is all of the levels into one cell.
I've attached a word file with a few of the items as well as an excel file that has the same items entered, which I've done manually, one at a time.
When I entered the items manually, I clicked on a cell, hit F2 and pasted. However, I don't want to enter each item, one at a time. I want to enter many at once.

Sandy, thanks for the reply and the spreadsheet showing the correct steps. Very much appreciated. I will need to spend some time learning about this query.
