I can't insert a chart in pivot table

I can't insert a chart in the Pivot Table.

It is probable because Excel doesn't see the text as numbers.

I tried to change the format from general to numbers, but it is useless.

What can I do?

You can try the following to post on the board( external links are potentially unsafe)
- save your wbk as xlsb instead of xlsx (should make the wbk smaller)
- downsize the file

One way to make text looking like numbers real numbers is :

- Make sure you have
- remove ALL column manual alignment - text is now left aligned and numbers right-aligned
- select the range with "false" numbers - Data -Text to columns - Finish
If " numbers" are now right-aligned, they are real numbers ( formatting is how XL shows data to the outside world only, the underlying value is just a number)

If this does not work post a small sheet with some of the "text numbers" ( including empty cells if necessary)
