Can delete cell and column, but not row - Why not?

I can delete an individual cell, I can delete an entire column, but I cannot delete an entire row. It's grayed out. Any thoughts on what is causing this?

Neither the worksheet nor the workbook are protected, and it's only happening on one sheet of the workbook.

I can't recall seeing the Delete command grayed out just for rows.

Do you have any merged cells?

Can you attach the file with just that one sheet? If there is sensitive data you can just delete all the data. Just indicate which row you want to delete.

I ended up just deleting the sheet and recreating it. I was just curious what happened and wasn't finding anything on Google. It was weird...
