    Table Format, Clear and Reformat

I have this data range which I have formatted as a table using Insert > Table.

Then, I removed the format by clicking on the table, and under Table Styles in Table Design, I clicked Clear.

However, after that, I can no longer reformat this data range as a table, because the Insert > Table icon has been greyed out. I wonder why the Table icon has been greyed out? Thank you for your help.

It's still a Table. You have just cleared the Table formatting. Just select the Table formatting again.

You can't Insert a Table while your active cell is in the Table area.

If you want to remove the table but keep the data in it, then use Convert to Range.
