A client of mine has a file where one particular sheet generates an "Excel ran out of resources while attempting to calculate one or more formulas" error, but only when run in Excel 2019 or Office 2021. It runs fine in Excel 2013, and also runs fine on my PC (Excel 2007).
I have attached a copy of the file. Changing the date (month or year in the blue cells at the top of the Expiring sheet), which causes the cells in that sheet to recalculate, is what causes the crash. He notes that it seems to happen with 2023 dates, but not 2022.
Formulas in the blocks in that sheet are all consistent within each block, except for the "Other" rows.
Why would this work in older Excel versions, but not newer ones?
